As
unlikely as it looks, this is the last strip made of this story before it was
abandoned. Typical it would be a cliffhanger, huh? At the time, it seemed like
a good idea to have Ront involved with Pete since Gulius was the only other
interacting with him. Ront (at the time) did have brief encounters with Pete,
but nothing truly one-on-one. Such an encounter could have possibly brought
out new character development. Unfortunately, that's about the only good thing
this story had going for it.
The elements involving Pete, the introduction of Pete's mysterious partner and
the mission to steal from Mr. Mayers were pretty bleah to me. Sure some of the
strips may have worked, but the overall story was dumb. That's essentially why
this would never have been shown anywhere outside INTERMISSION.
Now, that's
about all the lost strips I have. Next up will be strips/art others have made.
